Day 5

Puerto Egas (Santiago Island) / Rabida Island

Today, you take a small path from the visitor center at James' Bay on Santiago Island passing the ruins of a former salt mine and seeing along the way sea lions, lizards, herons and fur seals. In the afternoon, a trip to the small volcanic island of Rabida.

Though this island is uninhabited, visiting here is a must to enjoy the intriguing natural beauty and wildlife of the area. Make a wet landing on the unusual red sand beaches here, to see sea lion colonies flourishing amidst hundreds of nesting pelicans. This island offers some of the best views of these wonderful birds in their natural habitat.. Another sight not to be missed is the saltwater lagoon found here, where vast numbers of brightly colored pink flamingoes can be seen lazying around male sea lions that have been ousted from their groups.

Day 6

Punta Espinosa (Fernandina) / Punta Vicente Roca (Isabela)

The flat lava of Punta Espinosa offers a stark and barren landscape, but here flightless cormorants build their nests on the point, sea lions sprawl on the beach or play in the tide pools and marine iguanas dot the sand The Island Fernandina, which is the most western island of the Galapagos, is a very interesting point to visit. The main attractions of this island are its Lava-Cactuses and the on the surface of the lava, the growing mangroves as well as numerous animals such as sea lion colonies, penguins, the flightless cormorant and the iguanas.

The Punta Vincente Roca is an amazing cliff at the west coast of Isabela and a paradise for divers. The spot is a popular anchorage from which to take panga rides along the cliff that are the remains of the volcano or explore a partially sunken cave at the water’s edge. Masked and blue-footed boobies sit perched along the point and the sheer cliffs, while flightless cormorants inhabit the shoreline.

Day 7

Bartolome Island / North Seymour Island

Before breakfast, you disembark at Bartolome Island for a hike to the summit and a spectacular panoramic view. Later there will be a chance to snorkel with Galapagos Penguins.

Continue on to North Seymour, an uplifted island was once on the ocean floor. Afternoon trip to the North Seymour Island in order to observe bird colonies such as blue-footed boobies and frigate birds. An opportunity also to see sea lions and marine iguanas.

Day 8

Leon Dormido, San Cristobal departure

The last day, where you will pass the shattered rock "Leon Dormido" also known as Kicker Rock, which serves as a nesting place for many sea birds. A visit to the Interpretation Centre at Puerto Baquerizo Moreno before arriving to Puerto Baquerizo Moreno for the transfer to the airport and return to the Ecuador mainland to Quito or Guayaquil airport..
