Just finished 7-day Galapagos Cruise on the Celebrity Xpedition. From my experience, I strongly recommend the ship.
The vessel is modern, the cabins are very comfortable (though understandably small), food is surely the best in the Galapagos, the staff is terrific, the "Naturalists" who guide the small groups on the island excursions are as friendly as they are knowledgeable and the on-board medical facilities (no small thing when so far from easy transport) are very good. The ship offers free internet access, a large hot tub and a treadmill.
Wines and all-drinks (except top premium brands) are included in the price. There is no skimping anywhere. The Xpedition does Celebrity proud and confirms Celebrity's reputation as a first-tier cruise line. |

| We're about to book a trip on the Xpedition for Oct. 2007, and I'm trying to confirm whether there's internet access on board. You said yes, Chuck, but can you please verify this? Your message is the only place I've seen a reference to internet access on this ship. We plan to go on the Xpedition either way (based on all we've read here and elsewhere), but internet access would be a plus. |
