I'm thinking about going to the Galapagos Islands in November via the Celebrity Xpedition. Does anyone have an opinion of this cruise and is this a good time of year to go?

After doing extensive research on the high end smaller vessels, we opted for the Xpedition and were extremely satisfied. The ship is fast and comfortable, the food was good and the service was typical Celebrity. The onboard naturalists were very helpful and knowledgable and led at least two different excursions each day. Celebrity's 10 & 11 day land/tour packages are pricey but not bad when you consider they include virtually everything (2/3 nights at the Quito Marriott, including almost all meals, full day tour of Quito, round trip air to/from Galapagos/Quito, $100 Galapagos National Park fee, all alcoholic beverages on the Xpedition, wet suits & snorkel gear and of course, all excursions from the ship).
