You can get yourself to Isabela (town of Villamil - where fantastic snorkeling opportunities beckon among the labyrinthine volcanic shoals just offshore - I recall snorkelling in cristal clear 10m waters, with a few schools of spotted eagle rays swimming in formation at mid to lower levels, a few shaks in the deeper waters, the occasional sea lion swimming by - with waves crashing against the shore just a few meteres away - very nice) or Pueto Baquerizo Moreno using a small public boat service - thing is, it's very slow (e.g. 6 hours) and very uncomfortable, and not necessarily cheap for foreigners, with hard to get hold of timetables, which are not always reliable......
If you have more $, you can fly using the local airline - EMETEB, for about $125 one way between islands (about a 20 minute flight). Again, service is not always on schedule.
