I am planning a kayaking trip in the Galapagos and would like to hear from anybody that has done this. Especially, if they can recommend a touring company.

The kayak in the Galapagos you can have much more fun on the areas that have been permitted its use.

Only this way you'll be able to travel through the bends and inland waterways that usually hide surprises that otherwise will go unnoticed. Here you can get an up close look at sharks, sea turtles, rays, fish and a variety of marine birds.

For kayaking, you are also going to be soaking wet most of the time, but you'll want a little more freedom of movement for your arms, and you won't get as cold since the top half of you will be out in the sun and also doing a lot more exercise. You might want to go with an overalls-style wetsuit where you can wear just the pants to kayak.
