Anyone been on this boat in the last few months?
Am interested to know how nice it is. We are booked, so can't change it but going with friends and want to know what to expect.
Also we are going in early June '05. Will we need a wetsuit for snorkeling - I don't do cold water and I live in S. Calif. If so, long ones or shortie and did you rent one in Quito, does the boat rent them, did you bring it with you?
How was food on board?
Thanks for any help you might give. |

| I was on the Legend last week. The boat is very nice. It's not like the big cruise ships but you won't lack for anything. The food is superb. You can rent a wetsuit (a shortie) and your snorkling gear on board. They had plenty of equipment to go around. I don't know what the water temperature is in June, but you did need a wetsuit for the deep water snorkling in September ... a little too cool to do without. If there is anyway to swing it, request Samuel for your naturalist guide. He is incredibly knowledgeable and has a terrific personality. You can't go wrong with him. |
