hi
i will be staying on the Galapagos island for 3 days. i am not going on any cruises as i get very seasick. are there good places on the island that i can snorkel w/o getting in a boat?
if i have to take a boat out, what boat company is good?
also, what are some hotel recommendations? no more than $60/night
thanks so much! |

try Camanio island, about 1.5km offshore. Great snorkelling with sea lions. I used to take my friends there when they visited. Best is to get a group of at least 4-6 people (share the cost) and visit Camanio, followed by the grietas, where white tipped reef sharks can be seen close up. Any boat operator licensed to do a bay tour should be able to take you. Could cost up to $60 per person.
As for hotels, at that price - you might try the Lobo de Mar, very central.
Have fun! |
