Pension Gardner and Residencial España
Pension Gardner and Residencial España are owned and run by the same proprietor and sit in the same courtyard, but have very different rooms. Situated on Thomas de Berlanga and 12 de Febrero, these two places share a tranquil outdoor are with a well stocked modern kitchen and a place to relax. The kitchen has a cooker, fridge and all the utensils you might need plus two large tables to sit at. Across from the kitchen is a leafy area with comfortable chair and hammocks to swing in. Set back from the rod, it’s a nice environment in which to enjoy a bit of peace. There is also a place where you can wash your clothes and washing lines on which to hang your clothes.
Cleanliness and tidiness are a priority in this place. The bathrooms are immaculate and if something can shine, it will shine, if something can look neat, it will look neat.
Pension Gardner on the left hand side has eight huge, bright and airy rooms. They are very modern in decor with beautiful paintings created by the local artist. Clovis Patino adorning the walls. Bedding and furnishings are very tasteful. Showers are cold to temperate. Fans are provided but myriad of windows ensures that a fresh breeze is usually passing through, keeping the room cool. These cost $20 per person or $30 for a couple. There are discounts for large groups and more beds can be provided upon request.
Residencial España has three huge rooms, mock dark but very confortable, clean and excellent value for money. These also have private bathrooms with cold running water. Each room has a fan but no T.V.
The owner is very hospitable and willing to meet all of your needs. Being located away from the main bustle of town, yet close enough to all your conveniences, both of these places come highly recommended.
