Hotel Los Amigos
At present (October 2006), the main part of this hotel is closed for repairs with plans to re-open within six months to a year. However, at the moment there are two very basic rooms available. One has four beds, the other five.
Each has a private bathroom with cold running water and towels are provided. They are reasonably clean and cost just $8 a night per person. As you walk up Charles Darwin Street from the harbour, you will come across a white wall with flaking paint that has the name written in fading brown letters.
Enter a tatty courtyard and you`ll come across a drab building that is the Hotel Los Amigos.
